This online only course contains the information every divemaster, instructor, & beyond must know about diving physiology, equipment, decompression theory, & more. There is no instructor-led component of this course, so you can review at your leisure. With every class you take through Water World SCUBA & Marine, our instructors are happy to answer questions you have while taking this course.

Are you up for the challenge? Earning your Master Scuba Diver Rating is considered the "black belt" of diving.The PADI Master Scuba Diver rating is the highest non-professional rating in recreational scuba diving, signifying a diver's extensive experience and training. It places divers in the top 2% of all recreational divers.
The Master Scuba Diver Challenge is a program you sign up for at the start of your journey. This program gives you 10% off 5 specialty classes AND, upon completion, gifts you a special challenge coin to signify your achievements. The amazing part of this challenge is, when you sign up, this challenge actually more than pays for itself with the savings you receive.
To achieve this rating, you must complete the following certifications:
- PADI Open Water Certification
- PADI Advanced Open Water Certification
- 5 PADI Specialty Certifications (deep, wreck, night, navigation, etc)
- Rescue course certification
- Only one specialty certification can be non-diving (Project aware, Nitrox, etc)
- A minimum of 50 logged dives

Course Requirements:
Master Diver certification prerequisites and requirements:
- 12 years or older (Under 18 requires parental consent)
- Proof of 50 logged dives
- Proof of 5 specialties completed (only one can be non-diving, EANx is considered a diving specialty)
- Proof of completion of Advanced Open Water, or equivalent
- Proof of completion of Rescue Diver, or equivalent
- Upload a photo to the certifying agency's website (no hats or sunglasses)
Gear requirements:
- Compass
- Underwater slate or wet notes
- Dive Computer
- Various other equipment as needed for your chosen specialties.
Time Requirements:
- Cumulative hours spent e-learning & training for 5 different specialties.
- 1 hour of document review
